The Asian Cup organized

The Asian Cup organized by the AFC (Asian Football Federation) is one of the biggest football festivals in Asia and this celebration takes place from 7th to 29th July 2007. For the first time ever, it will be co-hosted by Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. The Opening game will be played in Bangkok, Thailand on 7 July 2007 and the Final game will be played in Jakarta, Indonesia on 29 July 2007. Details of the remaining match venues will be released after 19 December 2006.

The draw will slot the 16 finalists into four groups of four teams each besides deciding in which countries these groups will be hosted. The live draw will take place on the 19th of December 2006 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The AFC Asian Cup will be played in Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. 

Ticketing information is yet to be released by the AFC and it will be made available on www.afcasiancup.com.
