Purchase Policy

The Objective of IndiaSportsTickets.com is to make your purchasing experience easy and efficient, so that you could attend your favorite sport or event. The following purchase policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the purchase process on Indiasportstickets.com. If at anytime while browsing the information below, should you have any questions, please contact us at info@indiasportstickets.com. The ticket that you buy acts as an entry license to attend a particular event, and is subject to the tickets terms and conditions mentioned on each ticket bought as well as the Promoters, Teams, Event Organisers and Venues terms and conditions.

Ticket Buying Instructions:
Orders are binding. Tickets purchased can’t be returned, refunded nor exchanged.
Tickets may only be purchased by the owner of the credit/debit card.
Any e-mails will be sent by IST using the e-mail address provided by the ticket buyer while completing the transaction. It is the sole responsibility of the ticket buyer to make sure that the e-mail address and phone numbers provided are valid.

Ticket Pickup Essentials:
While purchasing the tickets online or through Mobile or IVR or POS counters, you would receive an E-ticket with a confirmation number. In case you have chosen the Will Call pickup option, this E-ticket would need to be exchanged at the Will Call pickup window for an actual ticket. When coming to exchange the e-ticket for an actual ticket please make sure to carry the e-ticket confirmation copy, alongwith a clear photocopy of your ID proof alongwith the credit/debit card from which you made the transaction.
In case you are not able to attend, then you could authorize your representative to collect the ticket with the following:
An authority letter from you, alongwith the confirmation printout, a photocopy of your ID proof, alongwith a photocopy of the authorized persons ID proof and the credit/debit card used for purchase.
In case you choose the courier option, then please produce the confirmation printout alongwith a copy of the photo ID proof to the courier delivery company.
Indiasportstickets makes it expressly clear that No tickets will be handed out without the above documents.

Tickets Delivery Options
Indiasportstickets may offer different combinations of delivery methods taking into account factors that include the venue or place where the event is to be held, the country in which you live, the time left for the event start date, whether it is a festival or holiday season and the nature of the demand for the event. Following are some of the delivery methods offered during the purchase process.

Will Call Pickup- Either at the Box Office at the Venue or as decided by the Venue & Event Organisers.
Courier Delivery : IST will partner with local Indian courier companies to deliver the ticket
International Courier Delivery : IST will partner with local Indian courier companies who have international courier tie-ups to deliver the ticket
For security purposes, the tickets will only be shipped to the shipping address given by you during the purchase and captured on our systems.

Mode of Currency for Payment:
All ticket prices for events that occur in India are stated in Indian Rupees (INR).

Payment Methods:
IndiaSportsTickets.com has facilitated various modes of payments for the benefit of its customers. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Paypal as well as various Debit cards and also have tie-ups with some banks for direct bank transfers for our online customers and accept cash for our offline customers. Indiasportstickets at its sole discretion and subject to the Event Organisers policies, may also accept Demand Drafts from its Corporate/Bulk tickets booking customers.

The Ticketing Agent
Indiasportstickets.com acts as the agent to those who are promoting or otherwise providing the events for which you purchase tickets, such as venues, teams, artists' representatives, promoters and leagues ("Event Providers"). While purchasing a ticket for an event that is located in India, then Indiasportstickets will be handling the transaction and collecting payment for the Event Provider, and if the tickets are sent by courier (if you happen to choose that mode) then they will be sent from India, regardless of where you are making your purchase from.

Indiasportstickets.com sells tickets on behalf of promoters, teams, event organisers and venues, which means the Indiasportstickets.com does not set the ticket prices nor determines seating locations, except if specifically instructed in writing by its Clients. Tickets are generally sold through several distribution points, including online, Phone Centers, Retail Locations and box offices, most distribution points generally access the same ticketing system and inventory. Therefore, tickets for popular events may sell out quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be made available prior to the event. However, Indiasportstickets.com does not control this inventory or its availability and only acts as agents in the ticket selling process.

Confirmation of Order:
If you do not receive a confirmation number (in the form of a confirmation page or email or SMS) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with the Customer Service Department in writing whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. Indiasportstickets will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.

Applicable Convenience Charges / Fees, Delivery Charges and Taxes Applicable:
Tickets purchased on Indiasportstickets.com are typically subject to a per ticket non-refundable convenience charge as well as taxes applicable. Courier charges may be applicable if the ticket buyer decides to choose the courier mode.

Standard Number of Tickets
When purchasing tickets on Indiasportstickets.com, you are limited to a specified number of tickets for each event (also known as a "ticket limit"). This amount is included on the unique event page and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying and hoarding practices.

Events that are Cancelled and or Postponed:

IST guarantees the ticket buyer of a IST ticket having been purchased in IST Network that he(she) will attend the event for which the ticket was purchased for or, in case of an event cancellation, that the price of such ticket, without the Service Charge and applicable taxes, will be refunded without further request to the ticket buyer.

IST will only offer refunds and/or exchanges based on the promoter's, team's or venue's instructions. In order to receive a refund or an exchange that may be offered, you will have to comply with the promoter's, team's, event organisers or venue's instructions or deadlines, which, along with the decision about whether or not to issue a refund or an exchange, may be at the promoter's, team's, event organisers or venue's sole discretion. If a refund is issued, it will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the tickets. Please retain your ticket and confirmation number for all refunds

IST is not the organizer of the events for which tickets are sold. IST bears no responsibility for any such event taking or not taking place, for a change of the Event date, for any circumstances arising from such events or for anything originating from such events. IST hereby declares, and the ticket buyer acknowledges, that it accepts no responsibility for any damage or injuries incurred by the ticket buyer or third person attending the event. Furthermore IST cannot be declared liable for any expenses incurred by the ticket buyer in relation to such events, including the costs and expenses arising from the event cancellation or changes.
In case of an event cancellation tickets will be refunded according to the following rules and the procedures established by the Promoter, Team, Event organizer or Venue management:

1) For tickets purchased online, IST will send an e-mail or SMS to the ticket buyer confirming such cancellation.
2) For tickets purchased with a credit card, IST will refund the price of the tickets to the ticket buyer’s credit card immediately upon having received the tickets back from the ticket buyer.
3) For tickets purchased at one of IST POS, the ticket price only will be refunded only at the POS where they were bought or at any of the POS location decided by IST after informing the same through either an Email or SMS or Advertisement in newspaper or appropriate media.
4) For tickets purchased by Corporations, the tickets price only will be refunded to the bank account of the Corporation immediately upon having received those tickets back.

In case of such event cancellation, only the ticket price will be refunded. At no time and under no circumstances the Service Charge of the ticket will be refunded. The refund process, if applicable, may be implemented and executed as per IST’s time and pace.

This refund policy is supplemented by the Clients policy on refunds for whom IST acts as Agents to the particular Event or Venue, please read the terms and conditions mentioned on the purchased ticket to know more on refunds policy.

Opening/Closing Acts or Performances
Opening/Closing Acts or Performances which are sometimes part of an event. Indiasportstickets is not always made aware of opening/closing acts or the length of their performances. These opening/closing acts are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. No refund will be owed if an opening act is changed or cancelled.

Verification of Billing Information
Orders are processed only after a billing address, and other billing information, has been verified. In case, we receive incorrect billing or credit card account information for a ticket order that can delay processing and delivery. In such cases, Indiasportstickets customer service will attempt to contact you, using the information that you provided at the time of purchase. If Indiasportstickets is unable to reach you after its initial attempt, we may cancel your order and may sell your tickets to another customer without any further notice.

Website Errors
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect regardless of whether because of an error in a price posted on this website or otherwise communicated to you, or you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then, Indiasportstickets will have the right to cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund to you the amount that you paid. This will apply regardless of whether because of human error or a transactional malfunction of this website or other Indiasportstickets POS and ticket delivery systems.

Limitation of Liability
Indiasportstickets is not liable for any injuries caused to the buyer before, during and after the event and the buyer hereby agrees to the terms of this purchase policy and to indemnify Indiasportstickets against all liabilities and damages

Tickets Usage Rules

The Ticket Holder shall not:

a. Use, offer or apply the Ticket in an unauthorized manner as a prize or in any other manner in a lottery or competition or for any other promotional, advertising or commercial purpose;
b. Sell, donate, transfer or in any way dispose of the Ticket to any person/entity for the purpose of commercial gain nor sell the Ticket at a higher price than its face value; or
c. Purchase or obtain the Ticket from a person/entity who is not an authorized agent.
D The Holder shall not use, alter, copy or otherwise deal with any of the symbols, trade marks, logos and/or intellectual property appearing on the Ticket.
The Holder shall not engage in any form of Ambush Marketing and shall not conduct any activity that conflicts with, impairs, infringes or denigrates the rights of the Event Partners. The Holder shall not be entitled in or around the Venue to conduct, carry out or cause to be conducted or carried out (!) unauthorized promotions; (it) any advertising or marketing; or (iii) any unauthorized commercial activity.
20. The Holder shall not (t) offer any goods or services (including, without limitation, newspapers, periodicals, drinks or food) for sale or (ii) distribute or give away or attempt to distribute or give away any free items or any political, religious, charitable, commercial, advertising or promotional material or other documents.

The Ticket Holder shall not, except for personal non-commercial purposes, make or use, broadcast, narrowcast, telecast, transmit, publish, disseminate, reproduce or circulate by any means (including, without limitation, utilizing television, radio, satellite, the internet, or any wireless service), any recordings, audio, video, photograph, text, data, images, statistics, results, commentary or any other information relating to the Event. All copyright of any of the aforementioned materials is acknowledged as belonging to the Promoter, Team, Event Organiser or Venue

Security Reasons:
The Event Organiser reserves the right to search the Holder (including a search of his/her bags, clothes or other possessions) prior to entry into the Venue. Should the Holder refuse to be searched in accordance with this condition, The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or eject him/her from the Venue without refund.

Should the Holder be ejected from the Venue under this condition, all further rights of entry for the Event or Venue shall be rendered void and Organiser shall be entitled, at its reasonable discretion, to render void the Holder's further rights of entry for all other matches in the Tournament

Limitation of Liability
The Ticket purchaser hereby agrees to indemnify Indiasportstickets from any Indirect, Consequential, Exemplary, Incidental, Special or Punitive Damages, or for Loss of Profits, Revenues or Business Opportunities notwithstanding that the same may have been caused by the negligent act or omission on the part of any by Indiasportstickets.
