Sania Mirza moves into quarterfinals of Bangalore Open International

Sania Mirza advanced to the singles third round of the Bangalore Open tennis tournament. In the near two-hour long second round match of the WTA Tour event, she beat
Tatiana Poutchek of Belarus 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 here on Thursday.
Earlier in a close match, Sania had vanquished Martina Sucha, ranked 46 in 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 and marched into the pre-quarter finals. "I've made lot of changes to my game and it has started working.
I've matured as a person and as a tennis player," said a confident Sania
"I'm concentrating on one match at a time and even in that match, one point at a
time." In other second round singles matches, top seed Mara Santangelo of Italy defeated Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 and Melinda Czink of Hungary defeated Hsieh Su-Wei of Chinese Taipei 4-6, 7-6 (2), 7-5.
