Gold for Paes - Sania at Doha

Indian duo Leander Paes and Sania Mirza won the Mixed Doubles title with another Gold medal for India beating Japan's Satoshi Iwabuchi and Akiko Morigami 7-5, 5-7, 6-2 at the Asian Games on Wednesday. 

With this victory, Paes proved to be the most successful male tennis player at the Asian Games. He has won six medals from singles and doubles tournaments in the Games.

Sania who had lost the Women's Singles final earlier to China's China's Zheng Jie was delighted and relieved. 

Though they were nervous initially, they managed to take a 2-0 lead and played a five-hour long game on the Khalifa court.
