Australian Open 2009 (19th Jan - 1st Feb)
is promising to be even bigger, brighter and more exciting
than ever. The Australian Open is managed by Tennis Australia,
formerly the Lawn Tennis Association of Australia (LTAA).
The tickets are now on sale and fast selling. Tickets can
be bought via internet or by phone and also in person at
any Ticketek agency across Australia and New Zealand.
It may still be more than a month away,
but the thoughts of world No.2 Roger Federer have already
turned to one of his happiest tennis hunting grounds, Rod
Laver Arena.

The Schedule of play is as follows:
At Rod Laver Arena there will be 12 day, 11 night and 2
twilight sessions. Day sessions are from 15 to 25, and 27
January, night sessions are from 15-25 and the twilight
sessions are on 26 and 28th January.
